I recently defended my Ph.D. dissertation in Economics and joined the
Department of Economics as Lecturer. Previously I have been a visiting
student at the University of Minnesota, University of Porto and research
Intern at the European Central Bank.
I am primarily interested in macroeconomics, business cycle fluctuations and economic policy. I also maintain an active interest in quantitative methods and applications, both in economics and biostatistics. In particular, I have published refereed papers in scientific journals in the below fields:
