This fall, Diego Battiston from the London School of Economics and Ferenc Szucs from UC Berkeley will join the department.

Diego is doing research in labor and organizational economics and his job market paper is called "The Persistent Effects of Brief Interactions: Evidence from Immigrant Ships."

Ferenc is working in political and public economics, with a focus on corruption and the role of media in governmental accountability. His job market paper is called "Discretion and Corruption in Public Procurement."

We are very happy that Diego and Ferenc are joining us and welcome them warmly!
