Course description

The course aims at providing students with a thorough understanding of key macroeconomic concepts, theories, analytical tools, and empirical regularities. The focus is on monetary and fiscal policy, business cycles, and consumption and investment theory. If time allows, the course also covers exchange rate determination and international capital flows. The theories will be applied to current macroeconomic issues.
