Short presentation

Anders Akerman completed his undergraduate and Master degrees at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and obtained his Ph.D. at Stockholm University. He is currently working at the Department of Economics as a postdoctoral researcher. His research focuses mainly on international trade, in particular the effect of trade on aggregate productivity and firm dynamics. He is also working on projects relating to intermediation in international trade, the role of broadband internet in international trade, outsourcing, the role of institutions in trade, arms trade and the economy of China.
